Facebook Messenger for iPhone and iPod touch just got the update everyone was waiting for. The Facebook Messenger Version 3.0 brings a fresh look that has been designed especially for iOS 7. The new design brings a simple and minimalistic look to the app with less blue and more white. The redesign isn’t the only highlight of the update though as Facebook has added another feature that will make the messenger app even more popular.
In Facebook Messenger for iOS users can now get in touch with people on their phonebook and have conversations with them even if they are not Facebook friends. This includes sharing of photos and videos as well. Users can authorise the app to use their own phone number and contact with other friends by entering their phone numbers as well. The update also brings custom in-app sounds for notifications etc.
