Add Some 3D To App Switcher With 3DSwitcher 2 Tweak for iOS 10

If you have ever wanted to customize the iOS App Switcher, then 3DSwitcher 2 tweak for iOS 10 is the one you should try. The tweak that is the successor to the original 3DSwitcher tweak makes it super easy for users to apply different ‘3D’ effects to the App Switcher, that significantly change the way app cards are shown and move when you swipe left or right. The tweak even adds an animation for the app icons that appear right below the app cards. There are a number of 3D modes that you can choose from each one featuring a distinct animation.

From tweak’s settings you can choose between 3D Cards, Card Deck, CoverFlow, Inverse CoverFlow, Subtler CoverFlow, Inverse Subtler CoverFlow and 2D Cards. The 2D Cards mode is very similar to the app switcher style found on iOS 7 and iOS 8, so if you miss that style you can get it back with this tweak.

In addition to applying different types of animations to app cards users can also choose custom animations for app icons on the app switcher page. You can have the icons fade, scale or roll when panning.

Apart from choosing the style for the app cards and icons there’s not much in the tweak’s Settings. You do get a master enable toggle that lets you enable or disable the tweak whenever you want.

You can download the 3DSwitcher 2 tweak from Cydia for $1.99. It works with iOS 10 and iOS 9 powered devices.
