TinyPlayer Lite tweak adds a music widget to iOS

TinyPlayer tweak

If you are looking for a fun and convenient way of controlling music on your jailbroken iOS device, then you might want to check out TinyPlayer Lite tweak from Cydia. The newly released Cydia tweak adds a nice music widget that you can move around the screen. Perhaps the best thing about TinyPlayer is that you can not only access it from the homescreen but also from within apps. It offers all the features you would expect from a music widget including ability to play/pause music, go to next or previous songs and more.

Instead of having tiny buttons TinyPlayer Lite allows users to control music by tapping on the widget body. You can tap once to play or pause the music or double tap to go to the next song. To play the previous song again you can triple tap on the widget. TinyPlayer is not just about the functionality as it looks good too, and offers both dark and light modes. You can switch between the two modes by pressing and holding on the widget.

Want to access visual controls? Simply tap and hold on the play/pause button. You can also swipe on the visual controls to quickly share your favorite song on Facebook or Twitter. You can set a custom Activator gesture from Settings to show or hide the player.

TinyPlayer Lite tweak is available in Cydia’s BigBoss repo for free. It works with the stock Music app and third-party music apps like Spotify, Deezer, SoundCloud etc. It supports iOS 9 as well as iOS 8 powered devices.
