The wait is finally over folks as Rovio’s Angry Birds Go! game for iPhone and iPad is now available for download in the App Store. It is a racing game similar to Mario Kart based on the racing tracks found on the Piggy Island. It features the beloved characters from the Angry Birds Franchise and also includes the mischievous pigs. To spice things up Angry Birds Go! allows players to choose to play as any character from the Angry Birds team or the Pigs.
Just like any other racing game Angry Birds Go! features multiple tracks and allows players to upgrade their ride by applying performance and visual upgrades. It is the first ever 3D Angry Birds game giving a completely different look at the Piggy Island previous games have been based on. These are not your regular race tracks as the game features stunt roads, air courses as well as off-road races full of challenges.
Users can choose from tilt or touch controls according to their preference. Each bird has its own special powers ranging from a speed boost to explosions and more.
The game is free-to-play and can stay that way if you collect sufficient gold coins during the gameplay. Players can also buy stuff through the in-app purchases if they want to speed things up or want the premium vehicles that could cost as much as $49.99.
The free Angry Birds Go! is available for download and supports all recent iOS devices. According to game’s description iPod touch 4th generation users might experience lags or crashes.
