iOS 7-1 beta

Apple has just seeded iOS 7.1 beta to the registered developers and the software update is now available for download through the dev center. Developers who have the Apple developer accounts can now sign in and download the software for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. The update has been released for all iOS 7 supported devices. The build number of for this iOS 7.1 beta release is 11D5099e.

The iOS 7.1 beta seems to bring several changes to iOS 7 including the ability for users to select dark colored keyboard from accessibility options, addition of new Yahoo! logo in notification center, weather and stock apps and more. Another change that has been added in this beta version of iOS 7.1  and will eventually come to all users is that when you change the system wide font size from accessibility you no longer need to restart the device. It also brings bug fixes and speed improvements.

In Photos & Camera section Apple has added the ‘Upload Burst Photos’ option that enables users to make their iPhone upload burst photos to Photo Stream. They can disable this option if they don’t want to upload burst photos to Photo Stream from settings.

The iOS 7.1 beta 1 will most likely be followed by several other betas before it is released publicly for all of us. Apple released iOS 7.0.4 along with iOS 6.1.5 for iPod touch 4G last week.
