Apple has sent out official invitation to different media outlets inviting them for its upcoming event that will take place in October 22nd. In this event Apple is expected to announce new models of iPad and iPad mini. Apart from the iPad lineup it is also expected that Apple will also release the new OS X Mavericks to public along with a refresh to its Macbook products, an update that is long due.

For the new iPad 5th generation it is speculated that Apple will completely redesign it from ground up making it look more like the iPad mini with a different design and thinner bezel.

Similarly iPad mini 2 is also expected to receive major change in this update. One of the highest possibilities is the addition of Retina Display in the new iPad mini along with faster processors. While everyone is hoping for a Retina Display equipped iPad mini we have heard contradicting reports saying the high resolution display will become part of iPad mini in 2014.

While the new iPads will be announced on October 22nd it is expected that Apple will release them around November 1st, which falls in line with company’s previous releases.

In the invitation graphic Apple says ‘We still have a lot to cover.’, which might indicate that the company has a number of products to announce at the upcoming event suggesting we will have more product announcements than just the new iPad models.

The event will take place in Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco, California and will start at 10 AM Pacific.

We will post about all the new products that will be announced in the new event so stay tuned. For quick updates you can follow us on Twitter and Facebook.
