In this post we will show you how to Jailbreak iOS 10.2 on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch. Now before you begin with the process do note that yalu102 is still in beta. Although the jailbreak is more stable than when it was released for the first time, there are still issues that need to be addressed. Luca Todesco, the hacker behind this jailbreak is actively releasing betas and is expected to release the final public version soon. So if you don’t know what you are doing, or don’t want to risk your chance of jailbreaking, then we would advice you to refrain from yalu Jailbreak iOS 10.2.

Note: Users with iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus and iPad Air 2 can use yalu jailbreak on iOS 10.1.1 or earlier.

The Process

1 ) Plug your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch to your computer using a Lightning cable and launch Cydia Impactor tool.

2 ) Once Cydia Impactor is running simply drag and drop the yalu102_alpha IPA file you downloaded earlier on the tool. You might get an ‘Apple Developer Warning’, simply hit OK. It will ask you to log into your Apple ID. Enter your email address and password.

3 ) Once the jailbreak process is completed on the computer, launch Settings app on your iOS device. Open Settings > General > Device Management and tap on your email address. From the developer profile page tap on the ‘Trust’ button and then hit the ‘Trust’ button from the popup once again.

4 ) Now return to the homescreen and launch the yalu102 app. Inside the app tap on the ‘Go‘ button.

5 ) Your iPhone will reboot now. Once its ready to use you will see the Cydia icon on the homescreen.

That’s it. If you see Cydia icon and Cydia is running without any issues, then you have a jailbroken iOS device. You can now go ahead and download your favorite tweaks from Cydia.
