In an email sent to app developers recently Apple has announced that it will start showing app and in-app purchases price in local currency in a number of countries. This means that App Store user in those stores will see a price in their own currency rather than seeing a price in USD. The email serves as an informational notification for the developers as Apple does not require any action from them. The prices will be updated for apps and in-app purchases automatically. Apple will also automatically convert the currency for current subscriptions for users in the country and now charge them in their respective currencies.

Countries that will start seeing their local currency in the App Store soon include Egypt, Malaysia, Pakistan, Qatar, Vietnam and many others. A full list of countries along with their currencies, which will start to appear in the App Store in the next couple of weeks is available below. Apple has also published an app pricing guide in local currencies of these countries that is available here.
