Winocm seems to be very active these days. First he released a video teasing the iOS 7.1 untethered jailbreak on iPhone 4. Now he has posted another video claiming to show the dual booting of iOS 5.1 and iOS 6.1 on an iPad 2. The video shows an iPad 2 running iOS 5.1, and later the hacker uses ‘magical injection utility and bootstrap’ to boot into iOS 6.1.3. All this without any type of restore or update. As seen in the video switching to iOS 6.1.3 takes almost 1 minute.
iH8sn0w the hacker behind many jailbreak tools including sn0wbreeze, f0recast, iREB etc. tweeted in response to @winocm’s video:

From the conversation on Twitter it appears that this hack has been made possible using the ‘userland’ exploit. However this exploit is limited to devices running Apple A5 processor. So if made public this hack will cover iPhone 4S, iPad 2, iPad mini 1st gen. and iPod touch 5th generation.
At the moment no ETA/release date is provided, or even there is no clue whether he will be carrying on the work on this hack or not. But if it happens then possibilities may go beyond iOS and you might be able to dual boot Android on your iOS devices. By the way this is the same developer who is going to work for Apple later this year.
