In this guide, you will learn how to add your AirPods or AirPods Pro to Find My and use Apple’s Find My Network to track your device in case you lose it.

To add your AirPods to Find My, your headphones need to be connected to your iPhone or iPad. Your iOS device should also have the Find My feature enabled.

Enable Find My for AirPods

  1. Launch the Settings app and tap on Bluetooth.
  2. From the list of devices, find the name of your AirPods and tap on the blue ‘i’ button located next to its name.
  3. On the next page, scroll down and find the Find My Network option.
  4. Simply turn the Find My Network toggle on.

As soon as you turn this toggle on, your AirPods will be added to your Find My account, and you will be able to locate them on the map whenever they are lost.

You can even tap on the Show in Find My button to see your headphones on the map.

In the Find My app, you can play a sound, use the Find feature, and mark your headphones as lost.

Find My supports all models of AirPods Pro, AirPods Max, AirPods 3, and AirPods 4.
