Flashlight Indicator Tweak Shows A Dot On iPhone’s Status Bar When Flashlight Is On

Have you ever been in a situation where after a while you discovered that your iPhone’s flashlight was on? If your answer is yes, then you’re certainly not alone. Turning iPhone’s flashlight on accidentally is a fairly common occurrence. The worst thing about this is you don’t even realize that your device’s flashlight is on if you’re in a well lit environment.

Newly released Flashlight Indicator tweak for jailbroken iPhones is here to solve this problem. This tweak shows a subtle but very noticeable white dot right above the cellular signal bars in the status bar. The white dot appears when the flashlight is on, and disappears when it is turned off.

Flashlight Indicator tweak’s white indicator appears on iPhone’s status bar, which means it is visible no matter if you’re on the home screen or using any an app.

The white indicator shows up on the status bar when the flashlight has been enabled from the lock screen shortcut button or through Control Center.

Currently it does not appear when you enable the flash or torch through the Camera app. Developer of the tweak says he is working on a solution for this and support for Camera app might come in the future.

You can download Flashlight Indicator tweak from the Packix repo where it is available as a free download. It works with iOS 14 up to iOS 14.5.
