Whether you want to record gameplay, make a tutorial, or save something from your screen, the screen recording feature comes in handy in all situations.
So without any further ado, let’s get right into it.
Screen Record on iPad
Let’s first add the Screen Recording button to the Control Center (skip if you have it already).
- Access the Control Center by swiping down from the top right corner.
- Long-press in an empty area on the Control Center screen.
- Once it appears, tap on the Add a Control option.
- Search for ‘Screen Recording’ and add its button to your device’s Control Center.
Now that Control Center is available in the Control Center, let’s record the screen.
- Swipe down from the top right corner to access the Control Center.
- Find the Screen Recording button and tap on it. It looks like a solid circle inside another circle.
- As you tap on the Screen Recording button, a 3-second countdown will start. During this time, you can exit Control Center and open the app you want to record and get ready.
- After you are done recording, either tap on the red recording indicator at the top of the screen or access the Control Center and tap on the Screen Recording button to stop recording.
Optional: Record audio from the microphone in the screen recording
If you want to include your voice in the screen recording, then you can enable the microphone by following these steps.
- Access the Control Center by swiping down from top right corner.
- Long-press on the Screen Recording button.
- Tap the microphone icon to turn it on.
After this, you can start recording. And this time your iPad will record your voice and other sounds.
