Imagine having a fresh new look every time you tap your screen! By the end of this tutorial, you’ll have a lock screen wallpaper with multiple images that you can cycle through by simply tapping on the lock screen.
Change wallpaper with a tap
- On your iOS device access the Lock Screen.
- Next long press on the wallpaper image to bring up the wallpaper selection screen.
- On the wallpaper selection screen, scroll to the very right and tap on the ‘Add New’ card (it has a blue ‘+’ icon).
- In the Add New Wallpaper menu, select the ‘Photo Shuffle’ option.
- In the Photo Shuffle menu, tap on ‘Select Photos Manually’ (this option is at the bottom).
- Now, choose the images you want to include in your wallpaper rotation. You can select multiple images that you want to appear when you tap on the screen.
- After selecting your images, tap on the Add button at the top of the screen.
- You’ll see a preview of your wallpaper. Tap on the white menu button at the bottom of the screen.
- From the menu that appears, choose ‘On Tap’. This option tells your iPhone to change the wallpaper every time you tap on the lock screen.
- Now that you’ve chosen your images and set them to change on tap, you can add widgets or make other customizations.
- Once you’re happy with the setup, tap on the Add button at the top.
- If you want the wallpaper on both the Lock Screen and Home Screen, tap on Set as Wallpaper Pair. If you prefer a different wallpaper for your Home Screen, select Customize Home Screen.
And that’s it! Now, whenever you tap on your iPhone’s lock screen, the wallpaper will cycle through the images you selected.
