This year we are expecting an unusual lineup of Apple iPhone. In addition to releasing two OLED models, the company is also expected to announce a relatively cheaper 6.1-inch LCD iPhone, which unlike the other models will sport an LCD display like the one found on iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus.
For the past few months we have heard countless rumors regarding this mystery iPhone with rumors mentioning its design, specs and even pricing. Here’s a quick look at this new iPhone model based on allegedly leaked rumors.
- 6.1-inch edge-to-edge LCD display, with slightly larger chip than iPhone X
- Will be called iPhone 9
- Same internal specs as OLED iPhone Xs and iPhone Xs Max
- No home button and feature a notch for Face ID
- A single back camera like the iPhone 8
- Availability in multiple color options
- Starting price at $699
Since the device is said to be coming with multiple color options, we have previously seen many renders showing it in different colors. Today photos of dummy units have been circulating on the web, that show the device in never before seen colors of Red and Blue. The device is also shown in White color.
Do note that these photos are of dummy units and are not claiming to show actual devices. Regardless of that they are interesting as they show the iPhone in colors that we have not seen before.
