Installing apps on your iPhone allows you to boost your iPhone’s usefulness. While performing this task is very easy, it can seem a little tricky to someone who has recently moved to an iPhone from any other type of smartphone.
Installing apps on iPhone
Before you begin make sure you are logged into an Apple Account. You can do this by going to Settings and tapping Sign in to your iPhone option.
- Find and launch the App Store application.
- Browse popular apps or games by tapping on the Apps or Games sections from the bottom bar.
- Tap on the Search tab from the bottom bar then type the name of the app you wish to download in the search field, and hit the Search button.
- From the results find and tap on the app you want to download.
- Tap on the Get button to install the app.
- Enter your Apple account password or double-click the side/power button and authenticate with a Face ID scan.
- Wait for the app to install. After the app has finished downloading launch by tapping on its home screen icon.
Note: For paid apps, the download button will show the price of the app instead of the text ‘Get’. You have to tap on the blue price button to download paid apps. Make sure you have a valid payment method added to your Apple Account if you wish to purchase paid apps.
