While everyone was waiting for iOS 7.1 to land Apple unexpectedly released iOS 7.0.6 for all devices. The update fixes a serious security bug in the operating system that involves SSL connection verification.
Just like any other iOS software update the release of iOS 7.0.6 brought doubts and confusion among jailbreakers who are wondering whether they should upgrade or not, fearing they might lose their jailbreak.
If you are one of those users who can’t resist to hit the update button but also want to retain their jailbreak infamous iOS Hacker MuscleNerd has an important message. In his tweet he has warned jailbreakers against installing iOS 7.0.6 on their devices.
Same advice as last time! Stay away from 7.0.6 if jailbroken, and we’ll update evasi0n7 if possible (this sounds like an important fix!)

Although you are supposed to stay away from iOS 7.0.6 the good news is evasi0n7 will soon be updated to support it.
Another word of advice from the hacker was for those who are still using iOS 6 on their devices.
With 7.0.x closing soon, this will be a great time for any 6.x JBers to update to iOS7. That SSL bug Apple just fixed is pretty egregious
