MessageEnhancer tweak

Over the past few weeks several tweaks have been released that bring big enhancements to iOS apps. These include MusicEnhancer, PHEnhancer, Social Enhancer, Safari Enhancer and StreamEnhancer. Today we have another tweak of this type called MessageEnhancer, which brings useful changes to the stock Messages app of iOS. With this tweak you can enable or disable different features in the app and change the way it works.

With MessageEnhancer you can have fullscreen messages, dark keyboard, contact photos in contact lists and conversations, bigger message bubbles, disable return key, get rid of ‘Load Earlier Messages’ button, bigger text field and more.

You can use the tweak to hide certain visual aspects of the Messages app as well. You get to hide separators, built-in search bar, delivered label, bubble tails get rid of the camera button, hide list chevron as well as the progress bar that appears when you are sending the message.

You can easily enable or disable the enhancements this tweak brings to the Messages app through the preferences page found under Settings app. Changes can be made by simply changing a toggle.

MessageEnhancer tweak can be downloaded from Cydia’s BigBoss repo for free. It supports iPhone and iPad running iOS 7 or above. According to tweak’s description it is fully compatible with Messages Customiser tweak.
