As you may already know iOS shows the percentage of remaining battery life in the status bar that you can enable or disable by going to Settings app’s General section. A new tweak called Battery Temperature replaces the percentage shown in the status bar with the current temperature of the device’s battery. The temperature appears right next to the battery sign, and if you have always used the percentage you won’t even find it distracting as it looks pretty much the same.
From tweak’s Settings page you can enable or disable the tweak. You can also choose whether you want the temperature to appear in Celsius, Fahrenheit or Kelvin temperature scales. After installing the tweak make sure you have battery percentage option enabled otherwise it won’t work. You can do so by going to Settings > General > Usage and turning on toggle for ‘Battery Percentage’.
In our test we found the tweak to be a little buggy as the temperature wasn’t showing in some apps and was replaced by the normal percentage display.
You can download the Battery Temperature tweak from Cydia for free. It is available through the BigBoss repository.
