iOS gives users the ability to change how notifications appear on the lock screen. You can make iPhone show alerts as a count, a stack, or a full list.
Each of these lock screen notification styles comes with its unique benefits and changes the way you interact with your alerts.
- Count: It gives a minimalistic look to the lock screen. You will only see the number of pending notifications on the lock screen, which are only shown after you swipe up.
- Stack: This style shows alerts in a stack, in which notifications are grouped. You can swipe up to expand a stack.
- List: When this style is selected, alerts appear fully expanded, and you see everything on the lock screen at once.
