If you want to share photos or videos from a recent trip, wedding, or a party with family and friends, then Shared Albums are the easiest and most convenient way to do so.

With a Shared Album, you can invite specific people, add photos and videos, and even allow other participants to contribute their own content and comments.

Here’s how you can create a shared album on your iPhone and start sharing photos and videos on it.

Create Shared Albums on iPhone

  1. First of all open Settings and tap your name from the top.
  2. Next, tap on iCloud and then tap on Photos.
  3. Make sure Shared Albums is turned on.
  4. Now open the Photos app and tap on Collections tab.
  5. Scroll down and tap on Shared Albums.
  6. Now tap on the Add (+) button from the top right corner.
  7. Give your album a name and select the photos you want to add.
  8. You can then choose the people that you want to add to your album.

You don’t have to add photos or participants to the shared albums when you create them. You can always add more photos and add new participants at a later time.

And that’s it! You now have a Shared Album where you and the people you’ve invited can keep your photos and videos together in one place.
