You can follow these steps for any model of Apple Watch, including Apple Watch Series 11 or older, Apple Watch Ultra 3 or older, and Apple Watch SE 3 or older.

Activate Find My for Apple Watch

Find My feature on Apple Watch is tied to the Find My feature on iPhone. So you need to activate it for the iPhone to turn it on for the Watch. Here’s how you can do it.

  1. On your iPhone, open Settings and tap on your name at the top.
  2. From the Apple ID settings page, tap on Find My.
  3. On the next page, tap on Find My and then turn on the toggle for Find My iPhone.
  4. Also, turn on the toggles for Find My Network and Send Last Location.

Now that Find My is activated on your iPhone, it should also become active for your Apple Watch.

Now let’s turn on Find My Network on the Apple Watch. For this press the Digital Crown button and open Settings.

Tap on your name from the top and scroll down. Tap on your Apple Watch’s name and then turn on the toggle for Find My Network.
