
In this guide, we show you how you can add Google’s Gboard keyboard to your iPhone and use it to type on your device with more features compared to the default iPhone keyboard.
Gboard – The Google keyboard offers features like built-in Google Search, GIFs and stickers, Voice typing, multilingual support, and swipe typing. If you prefer it over your iPhone’s default keyboard, then here’s how to install it and start using it on your device.
Add Gboard Keyboard to iPhone
- First of all, open the App Store and download the Gboard – The Google Keyboard.
- After installing the keyboard, launch its app.
- Agree to the terms and conditions and follow on screen instructions.
- Now launch Settings and go to General -> Keyboard -> Keyboards.
- Here, tap on Add New Keyboard and under third-party keyboards select Gboard.
- Now go to the Keyboards page and tap on Gboard.
- From the next page, turn on the toggle for Allow Full Access and confirm by tapping on Allow.
Now that Gboard has been added and activated on your device, it is time to start using it. For this, open any app that allows you to type, such as Messages or Notes.
Then tap and hold on the Globe icon from the keyboard, and select Gboard from the options.
As soon as you do this, the Gboard keyboard will appear on the screen, and you should be able to use it now.
