In this tutorial, we will show you how you can enable or disable the Data Roaming feature on your iPhone 17 or iPhone 17 Pro.
Data Roaming is useful if you are travelling abroad and want to use your home SIM’s cellular Internet abroad. You can turn this feature on or off by following the steps outlined below.
Turn on or Turn off Data Roaming
- Unlock your iPhone and launch the Settings app.
- Scroll down and tap on Cellular (or Mobile Data, depending on your region).
- Under SIMs, tap on the phone number you want to enable data roaming for.
- On the next page, scroll down. Here you will see the Data Roaming toggle.
- Turn on the toggle for Data Roaming to turn it on, or turn off the toggle to disable the feature.
That’s it, Data Roaming is now activated or deactivated on your device. You can follow these steps on iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, or any other model of iPhone that is running iOS 26 or later.
