My iPhone 7 Screen Just Went Black, What Should I Do [Solution]

The other day I woke up and as usual picked up my iPhone 7 to check my email and messages. Suddenly I realized that iPhone’s screen won’t turn on even though the home button was clicking, which means the device is powered on. My iPhone screen was black and nothing seemed to be working to bring it back to life. I tried repeatedly pressing the home button, removing the charging cable and putting it back on charge. It seemed like my iPhone 7 was experiencing the black screen of death.

  1. Today I had my Lock Screen and Home Screen go black
which has lost/ mislaid a rare photo. I followed the advice on the internet push the up and down volume buttons and the power button on my iPhone 8. To be fair
The photo returned but disappeared again quickly.
I had the idea to check for an update and found 16.2
waiting for me although I had not seen the update red dot on the settings icon. I downloaded 16.2 and boom
The Home Screen is back to normal, this was today
so let’s hope it’s still here in the morning, fingers crossed.
