  1. Open Settings and go to General.
  2. Tap on the iPhone Storage option.
  3. On the next page, you will see a list of apps. Find the app that you want to offload and tap on it.
  4. Finally, on the next page tap on the Offload App option in order to offload it from the device.

Find out if an app has been offloaded

You can easily figure out if an app has been automatically offloaded from your device by finding its icon on the home screen or App Library.

Once you find the icon, you should see a cloud icon next to its name. The cloud icon indicates that the app has been offloaded and needs to be re-downloaded before it can be opened.

Re-download offloaded apps

If you want to re-download apps that have been offloaded from your iPhone or iPad, then you can follow the steps below.

Before you begin, make sure your iPhone has enough storage available that is enough to download the app.

  2. On the next page find the toggle for Offload Ununsed Apps.
  3. Turn off the toggle.
