Screen Record on iPhone 16
- Access the Control Center by swiping down from the top right corner.
- If you don’t see the Screen Recording button already, add it by tapping on the ‘+‘ button from the top left corner, tapping on Add a Control, and searching for Screen Recording.
- Now tap on the Screen Recording button. This will initiate a 3-second timer.
- Exit the Control Center before the timer runs out and perform the actions that you want to record.
- After you are done recording tap on the red recording button from the Dynamic Island of the device and then tap on the Stop Recording button.

Screen Record with Microphone Audio
By default, screen recording only captures the visuals from your screen. However, you can easily enable microphone audio to add narration or capture surrounding sound during your recording.
- Open the Control Center.
- Long press on the Screen Recording button.
- Tap the Microphone icon to toggle the audio on or off. When the microphone icon is red, it means the audio will be recorded along with the screen.
