Transfer YouTube Music playlists to Apple Music
Before you begin the transfer process, make sure you have an active YouTube Music and Apple Music subscription. You can only transfer playlists when you are subscribed to both of these services.
- In any browser open the Google Takeout page.
- Under Google products, you should see YouTube and YouTube Music listed. Click on the Continue button to proceed.
- Next under ‘Move to’ select Apple Music and hit Continue.
- At this point, you will be asked to log in to your Apple account.
- After logging in make sure you select the Allow option to permit Google to add playlists to your Apple Music account.
After this, the process of playlist transfer will begin. It could take a few minutes up to a few hours for this process to complete depending on the size of your playlists.
After the process has been completed Apple will send you a notification stating the transfer is now complete.
