Do you find it annoying when your iPhone’s screen keeps changing brightness? That happens because of the Auto Brightness feature.
In this guide, we have shared instructions on how to turn off the Auto Brightness feature and prevent the iPhone 17 from changing its screen brightness automatically.
Turn off Auto Brightness on iPhone
- Unlock your iPhone and launch the Settings app.
- Here, tap on the Accessibility option.
- From the next screen, tap on Display & Text Size.
- Scroll down and turn the toggle for Auto-Brightness off.
That’s it, now your iPhone 17 will not change its screen brightness automatically and will retain the brightness you have set, regardless of the ambient lighting conditions.
You can manually change the iPhone’s brightness from the Control Center. Simply swipe down from the top right corner and slide your finger over the Brightness slider.
