You can follow these steps to turn off notifications on Mac for a certain application.
- Click on the Apple logo from the top Mac menu bar.
- Click on System Preferences…
- Now go to Notifications.
- From the Notifications settings page scroll on the left to find the app you want to mute notifications for and click on it.
- Finally turn off the toggle for Allow Notifications.

Turn off all notifications on Mac

- Click on the Control Center button located in the top menu bar.
- From the Control Center click on Do Not Disturb option.
