iOS 9.3.2 is Causing Error 56 for Some 9.7-inch iPad Pro Users

iPad Pro bricked

Apple has recently released the new iOS 9.3.2 update publicly, which was meant to bring bug fixes to the operating system. However unfortunately for some 9.7-inch iPad Pro users the error is introducing new bugs. Several users have reported that after upgrading to iOS 9.3.2 software update their iPads are getting bricked. They are also reporting to get the Error 56 notification, which tells the users to connect their iPad Pro to iTunes.

Even when the device is connected to iTunes the problem is not solved, as many users say it won’t restore or update through the desktop software as well. According to Apple’s documentation the Error 56 refers to an hardware issue, however as the error has occurred after a software update, it might not be the case. We hope Apple will quickly solve this problem by releasing an updated version of the operating system with a fix to this problem.

If you a 9.7-inch iPad Pro owner who has yet to update to iOS 9.3.2, we would advise you to stay away from the update until this particular problem is solved. We will update this post if any progress is made in this regard. (MacRumors)
