Apple has just announced the brand new iPhone XR. This particular iPhone model features an edge-to-edge LCD display, which the company is calling the Liquid Retina. iPhone XR features A12 Bionic Chip, Face ID, Wireless Charging and many other features.
The biggest highlight of this iPhone model is its large 6.1-inch LCD screen. Similar to iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max, XR has an edge-to-edge screen and features a notch to house the Face ID sensors and front camera. The new screen has a P3 wide color gamut, TrueTone functionality and ‘industry leading’ color accuracy. It has a resolution of 1792 x 828 pixels and offers 326 pixels per inch.
It is powered with an A12 Bionic chip, has a 12-megapixel single back camera, 7-megapixel front camera and Apple Pay. Not only does this have Face ID, but it has improved Face ID that is faster than the one found on iPhone X.
The A12 Bionic chip on the new iPhones offers 50% more graphical performance, 15% faster performance cores, 50 percent lower power usage, 8-core Neural Engine and more.
Unlike the iPhone Xs models this device has aluminium sides, similar to the one found on iPhone 8. It has a glass back, which offers wireless charging functionality. Other features of iPhone XR include IP67 water-resistance rating, 4K video recording at 60fps, Animoji and Memoji support and more.
iPhone XR comes in 64GB, 128GB and 256GB storage capacities. It is available in White, Yellow, (Product) Red, Blue and Coral colors. iPhone XR costs $749 for 64GB model, $799 for 128GB model and $899 for 256GB model.
