Apple has launched the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus with a new design, faster processors, new camera controls, and refreshed color options.
Along with a new camera layout on the back, the new iPhone 16 models also get the Action button, which was missing from the iPhone 15.
Just like the iPhone 16 Pro, Apple has added a new touch-sensitive Camera Control button, which allows users to perform different functions within the Camera app.
Apple has launched the iPhone 16 in 5 color options and has given it the powerful A18 chip, which the company says is 30% faster than the iPhone 15’s chip and 60% faster than the iPhone 12’s chip.

A18 Chip: Faster 16-core Neural Engine, 6-core CPU, and 5-core GPU for enhanced performance, gaming, and efficiency.
6.1-inch & 6.7-inch Displays: Super Retina XDR display with OLED technology and Dynamic Island.
Camera Control: A new touch-sensitive button has been added on the right side of the device. It lets users shoot photos and access new camera controls for Zoom, depth of field, toggle through lenses, and more.
48MP Fusion Camera: Includes 2x telephoto option and Ultra Wide camera with autofocus for macro photography. This is the first time macro photography has been added to non-Pro iPhone model.
Next-Generation Photographic Styles: Personalized photo editing with real-time adjustments for skin tones, colors, and highlights.
Spatial Photo & Video Capture: Create immersive experiences for Apple Vision Pro.
Action Button: Customizable button for quick access to features like camera, flashlight, and apps. The feature was limited to the Pro model only in the previous generation of iPhone.
Apple Intelligence: Personal intelligence system that simplifies tasks, using generative models to understand context while ensuring privacy.
Visual Intelligence with Camera Control: Helps users identify objects, add events to calendars, and search for items with ChatGPT.
