Apple has seeded iOS 27.2 Developer Beta, and it is now available for beta testing to developers. The update comes just two days after the release of iOS 27.0 to the public.
iOS 27.2 is accompanied by iPadOS 27.2, macOS 27.2, watchOS 27.2, tvOS 27.2, and visionOS 27.2. All of these are also available to download on their supported devices.
If you are interested in beta testing the new software, you can download the update from the Software Update section. Just make sure iOS 27 Developer Beta is selected under the Beta Updates section of the Settings app.
Interestingly, Apple has skipped iOS 27.1 entirely and released iOS 27.2 for beta testing. iOS 27.2 comes directly after iOS 27.0, which was released on Monday.
New Health App added for testing
One major change that has been discovered in iOS 27.2 beta is that it includes a preview of the new Apple Intelligence-powered Health App.
The new redesigned Health app is included in iOS 27.2 beta, allowing developers to test out its features ahead of the public launch later this year.
In its developer notes, Apple has stated that the new Health app is only added in iOS 27.2 beta for testing and will not be part of iOS 27.2 when it launches for public next month. The new Health app will only launch for public later in the year.
