Apple has announced the new iPad Air models at its Let Loose event. This year Apple has introduced a new 13-inch size for the iPad Air and the 11-inch iPad Air.
Apple’s M2 chip powers both 13-inch and 11-inch iPad Air models. The new chip offers 50% faster speeds compared to the M1 chip.
The front-facing camera on the iPad Air has been moved towards the middle similar to the iPad 10, making it easier for users to record and attend FaceTime calls in landscape mode.
The stereo speakers have also been moved in landscape orientation. On the 13-inch iPad Air users will experience a stronger base.
iPad Air 6 features faster Wi-Fi with the introduction of Wi-Fi 6E. It is also equipped with 5G for the cellular model.
Both iPad Air 6 sizes will be available in space grey, blue, purple, and starlight color options. Users will be able to get the iPad Air with base storage of 128GB (double than previous mode), 512GB, and 1TB options.
The 11-inch iPad Air starts at $599 while the 13-inch iPad Air is available for $799. Both models are available to order starting today.
