Apple has released iOS 27 Beta 3 to developers. The update is now available for all users who are beta testing iOS 27 on their devices. Apple has also released beta 3 for iPadOS 27, macOS 27, watchOS 27, tvOS 27, and visionOS 27.
Today’s iOS 27 beta 3 release comes two weeks after the release of beta 2. You can install this update on an iPhone or iPad that is already running iOS 27 beta by going to Settings -> General -> Software Update.
We’re installing this update and will update this post as soon as any noticeable changes are discovered in iOS 27 beta 3.
Beta 4 for iOS 26.6, iPadOS 26.6, macOS 26.6, watchOS 26.6, and tvOS 26.6 were also released to beta testers today.
Changes in iOS 27 beta 3
Reminders app icon refreshed: Apple has updated the Reminders app icon with hollow, colored bullet points, replacing the previous solid-colored design.
Camera app reflects Siri update requirement: The Camera app now indicates that Siri Mode requires the updated Siri experience, making the dependency clearer in the interface.
Siri voice controls are functional: The Pace and Expressivity sliders for Siri voice customization available when using the upgraded Siri.
Updated indexing message: The text displayed while indexing in the Settings app now reads “Optimizing Search and Siri” instead of the previous wording.
New macOS wallpaper discovered: Apple has included a new Golden Gate Bridge wallpaper in macOS 27 Beta 3, giving users another desktop background option.
