Apple Releases watchOS 7.1 and tvOS 14.2 Release Candidates To Developers

After releasing iOS 14.2 Release Candidate a few days ago, Apple has today seeded watchOS 7.1 and tvOS 14.2 release candidate to developers.

The newly released Release Candidate for Apple Watch and Apple TV can be downloaded on devices running the latest betas or those devices that have watchOS and tvOS configuration profiles installed.

The new watchOS 7.1 RC build, which is now available to beta testers brings a number of features to Apple Watch. This includes ability to be notified when headphone level could impact user’s hearing. The update also brings ECG app and irregular heart rhythm notifications support for Republic of Korea and Russia.

The update fixes issue faced by some users when using Apple Watch to unlock their Mac and solves another issue where the screen would remain dark during a wrist raise of newly released Apple Watch Series 6.

With iOS 14.2, watchOS 7.1 and tvOS 14.2 Release Candidates already released, we expect Apple to release public versions of these software updates in the near future. We will let you know when that happens.
