Apple has officially invited media outlets for the opening keynote for WWDC 2018. The keynote that will take place on June 4th in San Jose, California will feature major product announcements from the company including its biggest software releases of the year. This obviously includes iOS 12, macOS 10.14, watchOS 5 and tvOS 12.

The keynote according to the invitations being sent out to tech journalists will begin at 10 a.m. PT. The venue for the opening keynote is McEnery Convention Center, which is the same place the whole developer convention will be held from 4th June to 8th June.

In addition to making software announcements Apple is rumored to make some hardware announcements as well that may include refresh for MacBoo Pros, iMacs, new models of HomePod and a brand new iPhone SE 2 with upgraded specs. All this is based on speculation so we will know for sure once Tim Cook and team takes the stage on the event day.

Having hardware announcements at WWDC keynote is not unheard of, as last year Apple used the opportunity to announce new iMacs, MacBook Pros, HomePod and previewed the iMac Pro, which was released by the end of last year.
