Here’s What’s Changed In iOS 11.2 [Video]

Apple has released the iOS 11.2 software update for all devices that are capable of running iOS 11. The software update is the first one ever to be released on a weekend, mostly due to the fact that it has been released to fix the date bug that was causing many iPhones to crash on December 2nd. In addition to the crucial fix to date bug, iOS 11.2 also enables Apple Pay Cash feature, which allows US users to send and receive money through iMessage.

Apple has also added new wallpapers for iPhones from iPhone X’s marketing ads and boxes. These animated wallpapers can now be found on older iPhones too. Other changes in this software release include new explanatory text for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Control Center toggles, an indicator for iPhone X Control Center on lockscreen and a few tweak emoji.
