The iPhone 17 Pro Max comes with the highest-ever storage option Apple has ever offered on an iPhone. The previous year’s iPhone was limited to 1TB only, but this year we are getting double that. The jump in storage comes with a hefty price tag.

Even though the maximum price you can pay for an iPhone has increased compared to the previous years, the good news is the starting price for the iPhone 16 Pro Max remains the same at $1,199.
Apple has raised the starting price of the iPhone 17 Pro to $1,099, up from $999. However, the base storage has also doubled. The iPhone 17 Pro now starts at 256GB instead of 128GB. This means that if you compare the new 256GB iPhone 17 Pro with last year’s 256GB iPhone 16 Pro, the price is actually unchanged.
The iPhone 17 pre-orders begin on September 12 at 5:00 a.m. PT, and the devices will be available starting September 19.
