Apple has released the iOS 18.0.1 software update for all iOS 18 compatible devices, which is now available for download.
iOS 18.0.1 has been released a few weeks after the release public release of iOS 18.0 and comes as we gear up for the release of iOS 18.1 with Apple Intelligence features. The build number for this release is 22A3370.
As expected iOS 18.0.1 is a minor update that brings bug fixes and performance improvements only. No new iOS 18 features have been added in this update, as they will be made available with iOS 18.1.
You can download the iOS 18.0.1 update on your iPhone or iPad over the air by going to Settings -> General -> Software Update.

iOS 18.0.1 is also available for M4 iPad Pro models. Previously Apple had released and then pulled iOS 18.0 update due to reports of the update bricking M4 iPad Pro models. With today’s update iOS 18 is again available for iPad Pro users.
The update also fixes many bugs and issues that iPhone users have been facing in iOS 18.0. This includes the touchscreen responsiveness issue on iPhone 16 devices. Bugs related to the Camera app’s Macro feature and Messages app have also been fixed.
Apple has also fixed the security issues affecting iPhone’s microphone and the new Passwords app.
In addition to iOS 18.0.1, Apple has also released macOS Sequoia 15.0.1, watchOS 11.0.1, and visionOS 2.0.1.
