Today, Apple has seeded iOS 26 Developer Beta 4, and it is now available for download. If you’re beta testing iOS 26, then you can download the update now.
Alongside iOS 26 and iPadOS 26 Developer Beta 4, Apple has also released macOS 26 Beta 4, tvOS 26 Beta 4, watchOS 26 Beta 4, and visionOS 26 Beta 4. All of these updates are now available for download on their supported devices.
The update brings bug fixes and improvements to devices running iOS 26 beta. We are downloading the update and will update this article as soon as new features or visual changes are discovered in iOS 26 Beta 4.
iOS 26 Developer Beta 4’s release should be followed by the release of the highly anticipated iOS 26 Public Beta, which will allow non-developers to test out iOS 26 features before the fall’s release. The public beta could launch as early as tomorrow.
Changes in iOS 26 Developer Beta 4
iOS 26 Beta 4 brings back the Liquid Glass. Apple had toned down the new glassy design, making it frosty in beta 3. However, in this update, it is back in toolbars.
A new setting section has been added to the Phone’s app’s Settings page. It now let’s users select if they want to silence calls from unknown callers, ask reason for calling or do nothing.
A new splash screen has been added to the Camera app, highlighting the new Camera app design.
Camera app’s icon has been tweaked. The new icon now features a larger lens.
Apple has reintroduced Notification Summaries for the News & Entertainment category. Apple had stopped showing notification summaries for these categories in iOS 18, following controversy caused by AI wrongly summarizing news stories. The feature is now back in beta 4.
A new Dynamic color option has been added for the official iOS 26 wallpaper.
