Remember when jailbreaking an iPhone used to be a big thing? While iPhone users might not be rushing to jailbreak their devices as soon as they get them anymore, hacking the device to run custom software and modifications remains cool to this day.
Security firm Calif has demonstrated an iPhone Duo jailbreak on launch day. The demonstration video shows an iPhone with home screen icons and widgets bouncing around the screen, much like the popular jailbreak tweaks of the jailbreak’s glory days.
Calif posted the video on X and credited the hacker LCFR as the inspiration for the modification.
Calif has no plans of releasing the jailbreak for the public. As of right now an iOS 27 jailbreak is not available publicly for any other iPhone either.
Would you jailbreak your iPhone Duo or any other iPhone model if a jailbreak is available for it publicly? Share your thoughts in the comments below.
