Following the release of TaiG 2.0, PP Jailbreak tool has also been updated to add support for iOS 8.3 and it is now available for download. PP Jailbreak just like TaiG and Pangu comes from a Chinese team who have also released jailbreaks for previous versions of the operating system. The PP Jailbreak 2.2 supports all models of iPhone, iPad or iPod touch. In addition to iOS 8.3, PP Jailbreak 2.2 also works on devices running iOS 8.1.3 and iOS 8.2.
After inspecting the new tool by 25PP we can safely say that it is nothing more than an edited version of TaiG 2.0. PP team has simply changed the main page of the tool, however when you use it to jailbreak your device it displays the same user-interface as TaiG 2.0. Now it would be interesting to know whether Team TaiG gave them permission to edit and publish their tool or PP simply stole it.
After the process is completed the tool adds the PPSync icon on the homescreen next to Cydia’s icon. There’s no option to get rid of it during jailbreak process.
If interested, you can download the PP Jailbreak tool capable of untethered jailbreaking iOS 8.1.3 up to iOS 8.3 using the link below. It is only available for Windows.
