If you are an Apple Music subscriber, then you either listen to the music streaming service on an Apple device or on supported speakers. However now you will be able to enjoy your Apple Music subscription on any device you like as long as it has internet connection. A new website called Musish allows users to access their Apple Music account in any web browser and listen to their favorite music without an Apple device.
Musish is a well designed website that has a design so good that you would think it is designed by Apple itself. The web app is simple to use and gives you the full Apple Music experience. You get access to the ‘For You’ tab along with ‘Browse’ and ‘Radio’ sections. Users who have turned on iCloud Music Library will also be able to access their own library through the web app.
The Musish web app for Apple Music also offers built-in search that allows you to search for any song that is available on Apple Music service. The songs are played online through the web player that gives users playback controls, lyrics and up next list.
While Apple currently does not offer web based Apple Music client, Musish app uses official Apple API that allows developers to make web apps for the service. The app is safe to use too, as you are not required to give your Apple ID credentials on the website. While signing in you’re redirected to Apple’s website where you can securely enter your Apple ID details and give authorization to Musish app to your account. Once you have logged in you can return to Musish app and listen to Apple Music in your favorite web browser.
With web apps like Musish you get a good alternative to iTunes for listening to Apple Music on desktop as well.
