Appendix tweak enables 3D Touch support for folders

Appendix tweak

When Apple introduced the 3D Touch feature on the iPhone 6s, people were critical of it partly because the company failed to take full advantage of the advanced technology it added in the mobile device. Shortly after the release of iOS 9 jailbreak, we saw a sea of 3D Touch Cydia tweaks, that not only brought the feature to older devices but also enabled it in apps not supported officially. Now a new Cydia tweak called Appendix makes 3D Touch feature even more useful by expanding its capability to support folders.

With Appendix installed you can force tap on any existing folder to get a list of apps that can be launched without even opening the folder. The tweak shows the top four apps of the folder in a list. The Appendix list looks exactly like the default 3D Touch menus, giving it a native feel. While the tweak is aimed at iPhone 6s and 6s Plus, older devices can also use it by enabling 3D Touch with the help of RevealMenu tweak.

You can download Appendix tweak from Cydia for free. You need an iOS 9 powered device to use it. There are no options to configure for this hack.
