The newly released Artemis tweak aims to give users more control over SpringBoard customizations by allowing them to change various aspects of their iPhone’s home screen, lockscreen, status bar, spotlight search and more. This is a jailbreak tweak that covers almost all parts of Springboard.
Using the Artemis tweak you can perform multiple types of customizations on your device that can have a significant affect on the overall look of your iOS device. For example, you can completely hide the home bar indicator that appears at the bottom of iPhone X or later in order to achieve a cleaner look.
In addition to hiding Home bar everywhere, you can also make changes to your device’s home screen by making the icon dock transparent, hiding and renaming icon labels, changing page indictors and more.
You can also customize the status bar of your device and make changes like renaming the carrier name, hiding the carrier name altogether and hiding all status bar items for a minimalistic look.
Artemis tweak is packed with lockscreen features that will allow you to disable certain aspects of it. With this hack you get the option to remove the Face ID lock icon, remove the quick action shortcut buttons for flashlight and camera, remove Control Center grabber, hide the ‘no older notifications’ text and customize the text that appears at the bottom for unlock hint.
With Artemis you can also enable experimental features that let you minimize the look of the lockscreen media control widget. Developer of the tweak says he has tested the mini media control widget only on iPhone X, so it might display undesirable layout on other phones. If that is the case, then you can turn it off from Settings.
Artemis tweak is available in the BigBoss repo for $3.49. It is compatible with iOS 13 or later.
