A new jailbreak tweak called Battery Health Enabler by developer PoomSmart finally brings Battery Health feature to the iPad.
Those of you who own an iPad would know that Apple has not given the Battery Health feature, which is available on iPhone to the iPad. You can even check Battery Health of Apple Watch, but you cannot do the same on iPad.
While iPadOS does not show iPad’s Battery Health, there are workarounds that let you see iPad’s battery condition on computer.
With Battery Health Enabler tweak you get the native Battery Health info on iPad’s Battery Settings page allowing you to check the condition of your iPad’s battery right on the device.
According to the developer users can see the current maximum capacity of the iPad’s battery. Other Battery Health related features do not work on the tablet since they are technically only available on the iPhone.
In addition to iPad those with an iPod touch can also see the Battery Health and check out the current maximum capacity of their iPod right on the device.
You can download the Battery Health Enabler tweak from developer PoomSmart’s GitHub repo by adding (https://poomsmart.github.io/repo/) to your device’s sources. The tweak is available as a free download and works with iOS 11.3 or later.
