Does This Change On PanGu’s Website Point At Imminent iOS 10 Jailbreak Release?

PanGu jailbreak

Its been more than a month since the public release of iOS 10 and Apple is already beta testing iOS 10.1. Those of us who have upgraded to iOS 10 and lost the jailbroken status of their devices have our fingers crossed for the release of an iOS 10 jailbreak. While there haven’t been any indications from any jailbreak team, a small change on PanGu’s Change Log has got us wondering whether the Chinese team is preparing for an early iOS 10 jailbreak release.

On PanGu’s official website there is a dedicated Change Log page, which lists all the new changes that have been introduced in their most recent jailbreaking tool. However right now the page that is titled ‘PanGu Tools Change Log’ only says “V1.0.0 (coming soon…)”.  According to the page v1.0.0’s change log is coming soon, however the current version of the tool that is capable of jailbreaking iOS 9.2 – iOS 9.3.3 is at version 1.3.1 and called PanGu9. If PanGu is to release a version 1.0.0 of their tool it has to feature support for a new iOS version and most likely have a new name otherwise it won’t make sense for it to be a ‘v1.0.0’.

So are we going to see release of PanGu10 v1.0.0 anytime soon or is it just a mistake on jailbreak team’s website? We will get the answer to that question pretty soon. We will update this story as more details are made available. (via Reddit)
