As we anxiously wait for the release of Electra 11.3.1 tool capable of jailbreaking iOS 11.3.1, the team behind its development has announced that it will be dropping in the next few days. Even without a final date for its release, the announcement that it will be coming in the new few days is encouraging for users who are staying at iOS 11.3.1 or lower and waiting for its release.
Along with sharing the good news of an imminent release, Electra Team has also announced that they are using an in-house APFS bypass to solve the remount issue. The tweet read “Remount for iOS 11.3.1 is complete!”. In a subsequent tweet the team revealed that they are not using Spark’s bypass as it was unstable. Instead they are using their own APFS bypass, which is stable and ready for a public release.
Electra’s official website has also been updated to reflect the imminent jailbreak release. The Team has added a countdown timer to the page with the bar filled at slightly less than 90% with the progress showing at “Packaging”.
We will be keeping an eye on the latest development and will let you know once Electra is released for public. Keep an eye here and on our Twitter feed for latest updates.
