InstaRealDate lets you see complete timestamp of when image was posted on Instagram

InstaRealDate tweak

The official Instagram app is one of the most used third party app on iOS and it is perhaps the most popular photography app on the platform. Instagram app is pretty great at what it does, however there is a minor issue with the app that prevents the users from seeing the exact timestamp of when the image was posted on the service. Instead of showing the complete date and time the app only shows the hours or days at which the post was made.

A new tweak called InstaRealDate changes this behavior by making the Instagram app show the detailed date and time for all the images. To view the descriptive timestamp for any image all you have to do is tap on the time located on the top right side of the screen. Once you tap on it the exact time and date will be shown.

There are no settings to configure for this hack and it supports the latest version of the Instagram app i.e 6.0.7 without any issues.

You can download InstaRealDate from Cydia’s BigBoss repo for free.
